Czech Music Information Centre assembles documentation about contemporary Czech composers, musicians and events, keeps an archive of scores and recordings, mediates contacts and provides information about Czech musical life, organizes conferences, courses and concerts, Contempuls Festival, sells CDs, publishes CDs and printed publications (below).

Documentation and Archives

The Czech MIC public archive, which maps the work of Czech composers from 1945 to the present, contains a large collection of scores and recordings on all types of recording media, and also books, magazines and journals, copies of articles and photographs.

Czech MIC is developing the largest database of works by Czech composers, accessible at the Internet address http://www.musicbase.cz.
